The Low Self-Esteem Therapist
I specialise in helping people with low self-esteem to feel confident in their own skin and become a happy, healthier version of themselves.
You don't have to face your challenges alone - I'm here to support you every step of the way.
Hi, I’m Dani! I started working in the field of mental health about 10 years ago, as a support worker in a mental health hospital. From there I went on to study and obtain a degree in mental health nursing at university, then spent a few years working as a mental health nurse.
Whilst I loved helping people with mental health difficulties as a nurse, I felt like there was something missing; that I could be doing more to help people.
I am fiercely proud of the work I did back then and what other mental health nurses continue to do, but for me the work I did as a nurse always felt like putting a plaster on a wound without doing anything else to help it to heal. Which is what lead me to where I am today.
Alongside my private practice I also work for the NHS in a Talking Therapies service in South West London.

Don't underestimate the power of therapy. By investing in yourself and your mental well-being, you are taking a crucial step towards a happier and more confident you.
My approach
Compassionate
I genuinely care about all of my clients and want you to succeed, so not only will I be your therapist but I will be your biggest cheerleader too. I understand how difficult it can be, and the challenges you go through so I will be here to support you every step of the way.
Friendly
I want you to feel at ease because some of the best work is done when you can relax and open up. I’m professional but approachable and while we might talk about some difficult topics, it will hopefully feel like you are talking to a friend.
Non-judgemental
Some things can be difficult to talk about that may be contributing to your current difficulties, but rest assured that you will have the space to talk about anything without judgement. My work is trauma-informed, I am experienced in working with neurodiversity and I pride myself in being LGBTQ+ allied, kink allied and a sex-postive therapist.
Determined
I want to help you to get to the root of the problem so that you can make lasting, positive changes to your life. Our sessions will be focused and productive, there will be lots of talking but also putting things into practice too.
